OUR MISSION
To uplift the homeless,destitue and less fortunate that want to be uplifted and restore dignity through skills training and our  Ministry.

Sadly for some, there comes a stage in the downward path on which they may find themselves, at which point, they can  no longer help themselves. ARAUNA  ARK MINISTRIES  is there to offer a supporting hand, lift them up and restore their dignity.

ARAUNA  ARK  MINISTRIES has been functioning in the Cliffdale area near Hillcrest in KwaZulu- Natal since  2001 where we have land and buildings. We offer a home to 120 persons, mainly men. To a large extent our ministry is self supporting in that we have developed a number of small business ventures and train residents in the skills necessary to run these businesses enabling them to re-integrate with the community
                            These ventures include:
                                          Restoration Centre
                                          General Handyman work
                                          Nursery
                                          Screen printing and vinyl signage
                                          Panel Beaters Motor Mecanics
                                          Light engineering/Steel Fabrication
                                          Electric fencing and other
                                          Self Sustaining Gardens
                                          Steakhous & Pizzeria
                                          Indigenous chickens,Jumbo Quails,Ducks and Rabbits
We depend on support from the public sector which in turn assists us to finance our ministry. We are not asking for freebies- you use us when you need us and, we do our best to deliver a satisfactory service to you.

OUR AIM 
To give them the opportunity to eliminate the scenario  whereby residents at ARAUNA  ARK return to living on the streets.
