My tale portrays the thirty year downward spiral of a rebellious, drug and alcoholic dependant vagrant. The depths to which I would sink in my quest for that so called ‘ultimate high’ were so destructive that no human effort would be enough to stop my slide into oblivion.
That was when God stepped in and literally pulled me out of the gutter and led me to Jesus, so it was no coincidence that I landed up at ‘The Ark Christian Ministries’ in Browns Road, Durban, back in 1994. It blew me away when I discovered there was a plan for my life and God would show me the way. The journey I’ve followed since then has been amazing, and I now find myself serving a God of so much love, that I’ll never be able to out-give Him.
I’m now based full time at The Arauna Ark Ministries in Cliffdale and am in the process of establishing a silk-screening shop. With God’s help, and lots of effort, I’d like to develop this business to accommodate the design and printing onto T-shirts, golf shirts, handbags, and anything else that can be printed on. This to help generate funds for the ministry.
What else can I say except Praise the Lord. His mercies endure forever.
